Most of my writings have been me trying to work through an idea or articulate my own thoughts in a way that my kids might be able to gain some perspective.
This is a piece of advice that I am very confident in. The “success sequence”.
1- Get an education.
2- Get married.
3- Have kids.
Do these things, in that order, and the odds of poverty are close to zero (especially if you stay married) & the you create better odds of a happy, fulfilling life.
It is all statistics.
You can do this old or young. You can be a PhD or tradesman. The important part is the sequence.
The education is a sign of maturity. It is a sign you are serious.
Marriage gets God involved & increases the likelihood of staying together when (not if) things get tough.
You’ll then be in a better position to handle kids when they come into your life.
